They say a picture is worth a thousand words for a reason. Photos help preserve precious memories and usually make us smile, but then there are images that capture truly unexpected moments. Actually, sometimes the background of a photo is much more striking than its subject, for reasons the photographer never intended. We all got that one friend who didn't get a prom date and ended up spending the night with us. And by "all night," we mean it. Just when we think we are finally alone in the dark to, er, talk about some serious stuff with our date, there he is, sitting right next to us with a creepy smile on his face! Maybe this guy took being a wingman a bit too seriously.
He seems like the kind of guy who wouldn’t want anyone else to have some fun if he can't have any.
Probably The Last Picture This Girl Took
Apparently, this mother is not amused by the fact that her daughter takes sexy selfies like this one. Mom is absolutely taken aback by her daughter's behavior, and she cannot understand why someone would want to snap a photo in the restroom with such an awful expression on their face. Sorry, lady, but that's what society has in store for you today. In the current state of affairs, there isn't much you can do to save your daughter.
We can see that the target is locked. Mom is not happy, and she's about to do something about it.
Such A Nice Family Photo…Oh!
We get that every family has skeletons in their closet. And while this appears to be a fun and loving family, it would be wise to reconsider the initial judgment. It is because no one knows where Uncle Steve has gone off to. He's truly nowhere to be found. Someone should check with any nearby vehicle rental companies or local airlines for information. But, honestly, why would he want to stay in a hotel when he has a family that is so loving?

There's nothing wrong with treating yourself to a party after a long week at the office. These ladies were having a great time and wanted to take a photo to remember the evening. They were completely unaware of what was going on behind them, and they managed to capture not just a fantastic image of themselves but also another woman puking. It is obvious that the man holding the bag wished he was somewhere else at the moment.
He seems like the guy who knows that he should’ve stayed home and watched some Netflix alone, rather than end up here.
Hold It...Just Hold It
Anyone who has traveled to Italy knows that a visit to the Leaning Tower of Pisa is mandatory. And, thankfully for this young lady, she was lucky enough to arrive at the site and have what looks like a great time. However, while this photo makes us want to book a last-minute vacation package to Europe right away, it also makes us want to keep an eye on our rear ends while posing for photographs.
Because of the camera's terrible angle, it appears that this man is supporting much more than just the tower in this picture. It must’ve been so difficult for him, right?
Does Size Matter? Yes!
That has to be one of the longest gummy worms we have ever seen, if not the longest. The longer and tangier these sugary candies are, the better they are for those who enjoy them! Unfortunately, we cannot say the same for the other thing seen in this photograph. The other thing is probably the most terrifying thing we've seen all week. It is truly the stuff of nightmares.
The good news for her is that if she drops the gummy worm on the ground, she could probably lift it without using her hands.
What A Muppet
Ah, that embarrassing moment when we learn our ex-partner has moved on and we're dressed in a fuzzy Elmo costume in Times Square with nothing to do except give everyone cold stares. Elmo seems to be a little depressed for being left out. Given the icy chill we can feel in this photo, it seems like buying a plane ticket to a very warm destination would be a reasonable solution.
In all honesty, we think devastated Elmo now looks like traumatized Elmo. But was he betrayed by Woody, or by the tourist choosing Woody over him?
Love Is NOT In The Air
This almost appears to be a dramatic plot twist from a soap opera (the ones in which the evil person always succeeds). In the background, a man looks on as if he just had his longtime lover taken away from him by one handsome man…or it could be the other way around. Perhaps it is one of those romantic triangles in which one of the parties attempts to sabotage the engagement shot by casting threatening glances at the other?
We know it is none of our business, but we really want to know what happened next. Of course, one can hope everything turned out well in the end.
Revenge Time
That's what this family got for not including their doggo in the family photo. We're not sure whether to blame the photobomber in this photograph or not. When this family decided to pose for a photo, they didn’t want the dog in it. So it seems like the dog decided to make them pay for their mistake. We can see how the doggo’s eyes are staring right back at us through the camera lens. He is not embarrassed at all.
The dog looking directly at the camera while he goes about his business only adds to the hilarity of this situation. We’re glad the family didn’t delete the photo, though!
Perfect Timing
A typical day in the life of a hot lifeguard is anything but pleasant. There are times when a lifeguard has to put tanning oil over their perfectly smooth body, make sure that their biceps look flawless when they pose for photographs, and occasionally save lives — not necessarily in that order. We wonder how long this lifeguard took to respond to this lady falling in the water, since he's clearly busy with one of his other chores.
Maybe he waited for a few more seconds to make sure the cameraman didn't flinch when they took the photo. In the end, a good photo is what counts the most.
What Happens In Disneyland…Stays In Disneyland
We all know Disney basically eliminates their competition, but this is something else. We don't know what happened to cause this situation, but we'll make educated guesses. What started out as a routine day at Disney World quickly turned into a horror show. The kids were discussing how much they like the latest animated films from Dreamworks and Warner Brothers while they waited in line when Mickey overheard them.
Additionally, they may have thrown around some nasty words in regards to the Pirates of the Caribbean sequels, and Mickey, quite clearly, wasn't having it.
What's Up With This Girl's Hair?
The majority of people are aware of the effects that a combination of the hot sun, sand, and saltwater may have on their hair. It usually means tangles and knots galore! Pulling your hair up into a bun is one way to cope, which upon first glance, is exactly what this girl did. But is her perfect bun exactly what it appears to be? Upon second glance, we're not sure.
The most important thing in this photo is timing. A man was walking behind her at the exact moment this photo was taken and it resulted in photographic perfection.
Go Team
After taking a quick glance at this hockey team as they pose for their group photo, we can't help but notice something a little off. We've all had days when our tummy was a little upset, but having it caught on camera, on what seems to have been a proud moment with this kid's teammates? That's unfortunate. What's even more unfortunate is knowing that the kid sitting below him got a nasty surprise seconds after this was taken.
We just hope this wasn't the only photo they took that day, and that there were better options.
Not A Halloween Party
These three ladies appear to have had a memorable evening together. But there are only two ladies in the picture, right? Well, take a look at the bottom left-hand corner. Despite the fact that we have no understanding of the events before this picture was taken, we can't deny that this is nuts. A little background information could go a long way here, though. We hope the woman at the bottom of the picture is not possessed by a demon!
She looks like a zombie. Given what we’ve been through in 2020 and 2021, we don’t want a zombie apocalypse in 2022, please.
Nothing To See Here
At first glance, this photograph of a bunch of young soccer players appears to be normal, but the player on the left of the back row seems to have lost his shorts. Looks like this group of kids won the game and while they were sweaty and out of breath, their parents couldn't help but take a picture. After becoming irritated with their parents' constant need to take photographs, one of them decided to act a little naughty.
We know one thing for sure though—the boy on the left was never asked to be in a group photograph ever again.
Stay Hydrated
This young lady's back selfie skills seem to be on point. However, despite her best efforts, her dog decided that it was a little too thirsty to make it to the water bowl in time. It simply couldn't resist the delicious water in the toilet bowl, waiting for him. Taking a quick look in the mirror would have saved this selfie, unless, of course, the girl posing thought it was funny.
All we can hope for is that the toilet was clean, and that doggo here didn't lick his owner's face after.
That One Grumpy Cat
Cats and dogs don't always get along with one another. That could explain why this cat appears to be so displeased with the fact that the dogs are in front of the camera and getting all the attention. Perhaps the cat would prefer it if all of the attention was focused solely on him. This photo is a great example of the relationship cats and dogs often share for sure!
We can literally see the fire in the eyes of the black cat. One wonders what evil plan he could be planning at that exact moment.!
They Won’t Notice a Thing
Nothing beats a good photo to share on social media. This guy wanted to flaunt his tattoos, muscles, and headgear, so he asked his girl to take this carefully planned selfie, in the room that had the best lights in the house. Too bad they forgot how mirrors work when they took it. We wonder if they even noticed what was off when they posted this photo for the world to see.
Honestly though, we don't feel bad for this guy. He seems to have a strong relationship with his number one supporter, and that should be applauded.
Just Another Day at the Playground
When this mother saw her husband hanging on the swing with their little baby, she thought a cute picture was in order. After all, there is nothing more beautiful than a father and his child, right? Well, just when she took the photo, someone in the background had other plans. We can't blame the mother and son duo in the background because when nature calls, there's nothing you can really do but answer it.
Who knows, maybe the baby participated in a similar activity when this was taken. We may never know if that happened, but we’d like to think that’s EXACTLY what happened.

While the cardigan-clad lady was doing everything in her power to be employee of the month here, her coworker in the back seemed to not be on board, and she wasn't about to let things slide. A full moon can get pretty romantic, but we're not sure that this is what this man had in mind when he finally got on one knee and asked the woman he loves to spend the rest of her life with him. A strange man's rear end is not what comes to mind when we picture the perfect proposal, but that's just us. Maybe they ended up framing this photo for their grandkids to enjoy!
What would make this photo even better would be finding out that the strange man mooning is the woman's ex. Or maybe the man's!

Bridal Squad Problems
Things can get a little complicated when it comes to weddings and wedding photoshoots. The happy couple usually ends up having their picture taken with people they don't really like. We wonder if this is what happened here. We feel that all the bridesmaids decided to wear the same dress, but that one girl didn’t get the memo. Fishing For Trouble
These two gentlemen were able to get away from the city and their families for a day. Moreover, they were successful in catching several spectacular swordfish. Nevertheless, we have a feeling that the rest of their afternoon was not so peaceful and exciting. After all, they most probably caught swordfish that belonged to someone else. Or maybe the person lurking behind these two men catches fish too, but in a nonconventional way.
We still think it is far less scary than a crocodile photobombing the picture. If that had been the case, well, we don’t have to explain what could’ve happened next.
A Memorable Night
This newlywed couple will remember the night as one of their most memorable experiences ever. They look so happy and cute together, right? However, it appears that someone else had a particularly special evening as well, and thanks to this photograph, it will be eternally cherished in this couple's wedding album. It seems like someone asked the young lady in the back when she would get married. She gave a fitting reply.
Who knows maybe some grumpy uncle told her that she should smile more often. We don’t know what made her respond so nicely to that gentleman, but it would be great to know the backstory.

Winning a game is one of the most satisfying experiences in life. So after their major triumph, this squad decided to take a group photo. As our readers know by now that we always look at the bright side of things, we are glad at least he is in the frame.
He might not be screaming and cheering, but he knew that he had to show some part of his existence in the picture. Thankfully, we can see the upper half of his body…just the upper half.
EYE Phone Selfie
Okay, we have come up with a theory for this photobombed photo. The majority of people would look at this selfie and conclude that the person in the shower is frightened of being discovered. But how did we get to this point? We believe that the lady with the phone broke into the residence and proceeded to the bathroom to take a picture of her reflection in the mirror.
When the individual heard the girl heading upstairs, he freaked out, ran to the bathroom, and hid behind the shower curtain. That is the only possible explanation as to why that person is hiding in there.
Almost Nailed It
This young lady worked extremely hard to get the perfect shot. As we can see, she was successful, but sadly, someone in the background had other plans. Some of our readers might find it hard to look past this gorgeous lady because who cares about a photobomb when there is someone beautiful in the picture right? Well, the lady in the background was readjusting her skirt. Overall, it is a nice view.
She unintentionally ruined the photo, but we hope there were no hard feelings. We've all been there.

When it is ladies night and everyone is having a fun time, it is incomplete without a group photo. Clearly, these young ladies believed that they were all by themselves in this photograph. One of the group members or a complete stranger decided to photobomb them as they were getting ready to take a group shot. Looks Like Someone Wasn't Invited
Sleepovers are so much fun, right? There's nothing better than spending the night with best friends, and these young ladies decided to capture the excitement of the occasion by taking a few mirror selfies. They dressed in their nightgowns and posed in front of the bathroom mirror, with the girl on the left pressing the shutter button on the camera to capture the moment. Everything seemed to be going smoothly. And then everything went wrong or right.
We have no way of knowing whether this photo lurker wasn't invited to the party or simply didn't want to be a part of the group selfie, but she appears to be unimpressed.

Isn't spring break the most wonderful time of the year? We can let our hair down, soak in the sunshine, and take a vacation from our normal lives to hang out with our friends. These women made their way to the beach for their spring break escapades, and they were all decked up in their white bikinis to complete the look. These two lovebirds appear to be in the dining area of a hotel, where they are happy to wait patiently in line for their food because they have each other for good company. Unfortunately, it appears that someone isn't quite as excited about these romantic companions. Perhaps she should have booked her vacation package at a hotel that was less PDA friendly. Maybe she is not amused by the idea of taking a photo in a buffet line.
Honestly, we don't think she's photobombing. We think that's just her natural state of being and she happened to be walking by as the camera snapped.

Although it is said that imitation is the best form of flattery, we believe that a simple compliment in the form of a "like" on her post would have sufficed for this young lady.
